The producer
In 1994, Jean-Claude Teisseire took over the last of his grandfather’s vines and began rebuilding the family vineyard. Later, as he approached retirement, Laetitia chose to leave nursing, return to study and learn to make the wines herself.
That change of profession is at the heart of Clos Teisseire. With Pierre, she carries the family’s work forward on the hills above Rouffiac-d’Aude. The estate describes vineyard care guided by observation and grapes gathered by hand in small crates.
