The producer

Clos Teisseire is an 11-hectare family vineyard at Rouffiac-d’Aude, in the countryside east of Limoux. The family’s roots here reach back to the late eighteenth century. Jean-Claude began rebuilding the vineyard from 1994, and the current generation, Laetitia and Pierre, continues that work. The domaine describes reasoned farming and harvests its grapes by hand, an approach suited to close attention across a compact holding. Its setting within a Natura 2000 landscape gives the surrounding biodiversity particular importance. The cellar is deliberately concise rather than made to fill an arbitrary range: a Chardonnay–Chenin blend, Pinot Noir, AOP Limoux Chardonnay and Crémant de Limoux form the verified core. This small set connects still white, red and traditional-method sparkling wine without overstating the estate’s scale. Where a cuvée or image still needs current confirmation, the collection leaves the detail open rather than substituting a generic claim.
