The Limoux Collection brings together producers whose wines deserve a wider audience. Each estate remains entirely its own — different vineyards, different people, different philosophies and different wines. What connects them is Limoux and the Haute Vallée: a landscape shaped by altitude, climate, soils and generations of winemaking. Presented together, these individual stories gain greater presence without losing what makes each of them distinctive. The Collection is a window into Limoux through the people who make its wines.

Look a little deeper.
Beyond the better-known wine regions of France lies Limoux and the Haute Vallée: vineyards rising towards the Pyrenees, Atlantic and Mediterranean influences meeting across the landscape, and generations of growers working an unusually diverse terroir.
This is the home of Blanquette de Limoux and Crémant de Limoux, but sparkling wine is only part of the story.
The Limoux Collection explores the estates, vineyards, grape varieties and people that give this place its identity.

Where the story of sparkling Limoux begins.
Limoux has one of the oldest recorded traditions of sparkling-wine production in the world, traditionally traced to the sixteenth century.
Blanquette de Limoux, centred on the local Mauzac grape, remains the wine most closely associated with that history. Crémant de Limoux offers another expression of the same landscape, made by the traditional method with a different varietal composition and style.
The Limoux Collection presents these wines on their own terms — through the estates that grow them, the vineyards they come from and the traditions that created them.
Independent voices
A region bigger than one name.
Gérard Bertrand has done extraordinary things for the wines of the Languedoc. Over three decades, his work has helped take the wines, terroirs and ambition of southern France to an international audience. His success has helped demonstrate what the Languedoc can achieve.
But the hillsides of Limoux tell many stories. Along the same valleys, slopes and Pyrenean foothills are smaller domaines: families working more modest parcels, making wines with their own histories, personalities and interpretation of the land.
The Limoux Collection exists to bring some of those producers into the spotlight — not in opposition to the success of Gérard Bertrand, but alongside it. By working together under one collection, smaller independent producers can reach restaurants, hotels, pubs and retailers much further from home while retaining the individuality that makes them worth discovering in the first place.
