The producer
Pierre and Marie-Claire Fort returned to Roquetaillade in 2004 after working elsewhere in France, including the Loire. In 2017, Camille and Thomas came back from careers in ecology research. Each return brought new knowledge to familiar ground.
Their approach invites a closer look. Mouscaillo’s account of its Limoux Blanc brings north-facing and south-facing parcels into the same wine. The blend becomes a way of exploring contrasts within a village landscape.
The Mauzaïc project takes that curiosity into the future, bringing diverse selections of Mauzac together and reviving grafting in the vineyard. An old grape becomes a field of possibilities, with a family skill at its centre.
