The contribution

£60.00 + VAT = £72.00

This is a contribution toward unusually high cross-border sample costs, not the commercial value of the wines. Sending six bottles from six separate growers involves specialist alcohol carriage from France, consolidation and packing, a customs declaration and clearance, UK Alcohol Duty, import handling and VAT. The actual logistics cost is normally materially higher than the £60 contribution.

Illustrative duty example, not a shipping quote: at current UK duty rates, six 75cl wines averaging roughly 12.5–14% ABV incur about £17–£19 of Alcohol Duty before carriage, clearance and handling.

How the collection normally moves

The Limoux Collection does not operate a conventional UK distribution network. Commercial orders are organised vineyard-to-trade-buyer and consolidated and palletised to keep costs down. For the sample box, the six bottles are consolidated in France and shipped direct to your business.
